Moments like that also help make a good anime in my eyes as it is enjoyable and comedic it is quite refreshing, as well. Ergo, I can see why this anime is a comedy and a “slice of life” anime, too. II) It was quite funny and also emotional at the same timeĪt first, I thought that it was a little strange how a little toddler could have such a large crush on the teacher I thought that the teacher was going to get in trouble with the police because of the rumours that were spreading around the school and the local area – after all, this would never be ignored in the real world.īut like most anime and concepts presented like this, I grew to find it quite funny – especially with how Anzu’s friends reacted and how the rest of the “kindergarten” acted it was all quite funny, and it probably would have been quite enjoyable to work in such a friendly, lovely and care-free environment.Īlso, I found that Anzu pretending to be a big breasted woman to be quite weird but really funny and it did make me laugh quite a lot. The main reason why I am writing a review for this particular anime is for the following reasons: I only briefly summarised the plot to try and reduce the risk of spoilers if you want to watch the anime yourself, I used Crunchyroll: The next scene cuts to where Tsuchida and Yamamoto are putting on a puppet show about “Prince Clumsy” and “Princess Dense” the both of them seem to be quite happy with each other at that point and with what they are doing, too.Įvidently, we can only theorise and imagine what would have happened next, but I think it would have continued quite nicely and everything was quite happy. Like usual, this doesn’t go well because Yamamoto misinterprets what he is saying and believes that he is just talking about work. Anzu begins to cry and get upset at the fact that he is giving up on love, so she manages to convince him to go back to her and confess to her again. He tries and tries again to try and get her attention and get across the fact that he has feelings for her however, at the end of the anime, he slowly begins to give up and just says that they are “just not meant for each other”. While all of this is going on, Tsuchida tries to get a date (and hopefully be with) a young female teacher at the school - Nanako Yamamoto. Even though Tsuchida tries to brush Anzu off as just being a child, Anzu never actually gives up on him. The main premise behind the anime is the fact that one of the students at the kindergarten (known as Anzu) is madly in love with the male teacher at that school - Naozumi Tsuchida. The anime in question is: “Hanamaru Kindergarten" (はなまる幼稚園) let’s begin, shall we?
